Among our staff are experienced horticulturists, gardeners, arborists, landscape architects, landscapers, environmentalists and project managers – a total of more than 100 fine people. They revel in being a part of an efficient team, adding creativity to concepts and solutions to problems.

Landscape Project Manager – Commercial Projects

We have an immediate opportunity for a commercial Project Manager in the Auckland region. Project Managers are required to manage a suite of the city’s best commercial landscape projects.

The ideal candidate must have the following skills:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a landscape supervisor or preferably Project Manager
  • Stable work history
  • Landscape/construction/estimating or similar degree/qualification desirable
  • Strong people skills, both leading staff and engaging with clients
  • Experience in running and fully delivering multiple projects as a project manager in the commercial arena
  • Can handle and deal with high levels of responsibility and professionals with provable experience
  • Previous exposure to handling high specification projects
  • An excellent understanding of costings, programming and budgeting
  • Strong communication skills and excellent client facing skills
  • OH&S experience
  • High level of organizational and time management skills
  • You will be self-motivated and highly proactive
  • Current references are required

Landscapers and Landscape Team Leaders

We are looking for people to be part of our landscape teams in the Auckland area.

Candidates for this role will display:

  • Genuine passion for landscaping
  • Garden management competency, with preferably at least two years’ experience
  • Be a team player, dedicated to great relationship building, learning and creative thinking
  • Good communication skills
  • Pride in yourself and your work
  • Great organisational skills, and ability to work under pressure in an ever changing environment
  • NZQA Level 2+ (or equivalent) Horticulture, Landscaping or Building
  • Clean, Full NZ Drivers Licence. You will also be required to transport yourself to our work sites within the wider Auckland area, and competently drive manual vehicles

Greenwalls and Roofs

We are looking for someone to join our Green Technology team.

This role involves working in a small team dedicated primarily to the design, creation and care of our Green Walls and Roofs. We have Green Walls all over Auckland, and in several other areas of New Zealand. Developing and maintaining great relationships with our people, clients and teams is a high priority.

Key parts of this position involves learning the technology and systems related to the Green Walls, so attention to fine detail and clear communication is of utmost importance. You will also be required to mesh with our existing garden care teams to assist when required.

Ideal attributes for this role are:

  • Passion for horticulture and greening of urban environments
  • Be a team player, dedicated to great relationship building, learning and creative thinking
  • Fantastic communication skills
  • Mature, professional presentation
  • Pride in clean, tidy work environments, tools and vehicles
  • Flexibility in potential work hours (early starts, late finishes), some national travel will be required
  • High commitment to Health and Safety
  • Great organisational skills, and ability to work under pressure in an ever changing environment
  • Horticulture qualifications are desirable but not necessary
  • Basic Computer literacy
  • Full, clean NZ Drivers Licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle
  • Preferably current GrowSafe, Site Safe Passport

Our career pathways are supported by on and off-job training opportunities at all levels (NZQA, Primary ITO).

This is a full time position, and requires working at height. Full training, competency and certification in Heights and Harness work will be provided.

Contracts Administrator/Contracts Support

We are keen to hear from confident and experienced contracts administrators or people who have worked in a support role who are motivated by challenge and can deliver in an ever changing and fast paced project environment.

Key Experience:

  • Must have worked in an administration role
  • Experience with supporting the processing of contracts in general and contracts within the landscape sector is preferred
  • Solid communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Solid time management and priority setting skills
