Wellington keeps going green

Wellington keeps going green

Following on from the green walls we have installed in the Civic Square and around the city for the Wellington City Council, we’re now also installing a large 8m x 6m green screen in the centre of Wellington for the City Council via Naylor Love this month.

Another great project wrapping this month is landscaping around the new “Gateway” Building at Victoria University. Designed by Boffa Miskell, the landscaping includes a roof garden courtyard, planting 20 semi-mature trees, a 6.5m x 4m green screen and a Tuatara Pit (for reptiles not beer drinking students!).

While we have officially wrapped on the Kapiti Expressway, our maintenance contract means we are extremely busy as the weed growth picks up and so we have everybody out spraying when the wind is not blowing.

The Summerset development in Trentham is also keeping us busy with the new Recreational centre opening next week.

We have recently finished the first stage of the Kapiti Town Centres upgrade programme with Brian Perry Civil. And on the horizon is yet more spraying on the Kapiti Expressway and a Te Kura (Maori emersion school) entrance upgrade over the summer school break.
