About

A small, humble site in central Auckland was transformed into a lush garden, bursting with biodiverstiy and outdoor living space.

The clients, both busy working professionals, required a garden that would add more living area to their property, while bolstering the immediate environment with thoughtful planting and materials.

While one small garden path limits access to the site, a complete renovation was completed with key features including a recycled timber fence, louvre pergola, raised deck, 2000L water tank and two raised vegetable gardens.

The impact of the layout is immediate. Walking through the home’s living area, the floor plane is continuous from kitchen tiles to timber deck. Bright green foliage frames the border of the property, softening the hard boundary while fusing with overhanging flora from neighbouring properties.
