- Natural Habitats workforce is flexible in location throughout NZ and Australasia
- We have the reputation in the industry to deliver a quality outcome on time and within budget
When reviewing existing landscape plans we can apply subtle tweaks to maximise budgets and reduce long term maintenance costs
Set in the jewel of New Zealand’s tourism destination right on the shores of Lake Wakatipu is the luxurious Hilton Queenstown hotel.
Natural Habitats was brought in when the Developer went bankrupt and the site was a virtual quarry due to the need to lower the buildings into the site schist bedrock.
Hardscape works included the construction of timber decks, machine-stacked stone walls, fences, sleeper steps and paving. The soft landscaping component of the project involved planting and supply of shrubs, grasses and trees, as well as grass seeding, mulching and turf installation. We also installed 25 lightweight planters and a site wide irrigation system.
Natural Habitats delivered an iconic landscape, which more than fulfilled the original vision of the Developer and Hilton.
“We required a locally based landscape contractor that was able to demonstrate cost competitiveness, resource capability and had the reputation of delivering quality within budget. I know I speak for many in terms of being extremely satisfied with the finished product delivered by Natural Habitats and commend their ability to work in with the multiple designers and stakeholders in all facets of this project. A great result.”
