Landscapers Wanted - Auckland Residential Design and Build

The Opportunity

Due to our up-and-coming work load we are on the hunt for talented landscapers and are seeking site managers, leading hands and landscapers. As a key member of our Auckland Residential Design and Build Team, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality outdoor living spaces and construction projects that exceed our clients' expectations.

The Opportunity:

Working as part of a team you'll do everything from all aspect of hardscaping and softscaping. The responsibilities are dependent on the project work, which means no two days are ever the same.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Landscape Construction – installation of hardscapes and/or softscapes to our clients' specifications
  • Depending on the project and your skills, that can include timber works (decks, fences etc), concreting, paving, retaining walls, artificial turf, lawns, planting, mulching, operating excavators and bobcats, driving tipper trucks, the list goes on ....
  • Deadlines / Quality - Meet or exceed project deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Your work is of the highest standard, you are thorough and take pride in doing your job well
  • Health & Safety - you make sure you and your work mates go home unharmed every day
  • Teamwork - our landscapers work in teams of 2-3 and support each other. You'll be an active team member, by having each other's back, while having support from the Design Build Manager.

About You

You’ll have a passion for landscaping, have a strong work ethic and enjoy being on the tools and in the garden. You're a team player, ready to hit the ground running with your solid experience.

Requirements:
  • Basic to advanced construction / hardscaping knowledge
  • Basic to advanced knowledge of plants and their requirements to thrive
  • Be able to read plans and work off them to deliver the projects your assigned too
  • A good level of fitness, communication skills and the right attitude
  • The ability to work in a team environment, ability to learn and grow
  • Drivers license and reliable transportation
Advantageous but not essential
  • Carpentry, hardscaping and softscaping experience
  • Ability to operate excavators and bobcats (training provided to right applicants)
  • First Aid certification (we can help with this)
  • Site safe certification (for team leader applicants – we can help with this)
