As Natural Habitat’s South Island Regional Manager, Ashley’s pro-active management, extensive background in re-vegetation and ecological knowledge has proven invaluable to clients both to support sustainable development and to come up with innovative solutions.
Having graduated from Lincoln University with a BSc with First Class Honours Majoring in Ecology Ashley has a long held interest in the regeneration of New Zealand’s native flora. With a diverse work history stretching from Buller as a Civil Works Supervisor for Solid Energy at Stockton Coal mine to Canterbury as Environmental Scientist for Central Plains Irrigation to becoming South Island operations manager for a leading national revegetation, bio-engineering and erosion sediment control contractor, Ashley has played a key role in providing solutions to some of the country’s most high profile civil construction and revegetation projects.
Since starting with Natural Habitats Ashley has overseen the delivery of 3 Roads of National Significance, re-established our branch in Queenstown and has grown our business across a range of sectors as well as across the South Island itself.
