South Island Manager

Having graduated from Lincoln University with a BSc First Class Honours Majoring in Conservation and Ecology – it is no wonder Ashley has a long-held interest in the regeneration of New Zealand’s native flora. His university dissertation for his honour’s degree was on the reintroduction of native flora and fauna into an intensive agricultural setting.

Since graduating Ashley has gained invaluable practical experience as an environmental scientist for Solid Energy and Central Plains Water before becoming an operations manager for a significant environmental solutions company, growing its South Island operations with multi-million dollar projects.

As Natural Habitat’s South Island regional manager, Ashley’s project management and ecological skills are welcomed by clients – particularly around substantial native planting projects for highways of national significance, as well as Christchurch revitalisation projects.
