Transmission Gully a go go!

Transmission Gully a go go!

The great news out of Wellington is that Natural Habitats is the preferred contractor for the Transmission Gully expressway landscaping project.  The 27 kilometre four-lane motorway is going through some very steep valleys creating challenges for our Wellington team to literally plant while working at heights!

As proven leaders in their field on large scale landscape and planting projects such as this, the Wellington team under Tim Broadbent are continuing to employ much of the team from the recently completed McKay to Pekapeka (M2PP) expressway – many of whom were recruited from the local Te Atiawa iwi. Natural Habitats will be planting 200,000 plants on the project this winter with the balance during the winter of 2019.
