Telstra Clear Pacific Stadium

  • Scope of works included all swales, specimen trees, the extensive wetland area, provision of topsoil and several years maintenance.

At over 75,000m2 the wetland landscape at the Telstra Clear Pacific Stadium is an impressive environment to behold. Our design for the site embraces an extensive selection of native planting for re-vegetation, screening and environmental rehabilitation.

Plants species were individually chosen to reflect the composition of natural vegetation that was likely to have occupied the site previously.  Mitigation planting along the existing stream bed thas regard for natural succession processes and has established beautifully since its installation in 2008.

The stadium’s planting palette also features a selection of palms and sub tropical foliage particularly in the car parking areas, which are designed to accentuate the pacific influences that inspired architecture.
