• Soft and hard landscaping at Kawarau Village to enhance resort ambience and exclusivity

Set on New Zealand's South Island, by the tranquil shores of the Lake Wakatipu and in the heart of Kawarau Village is the luxurious Hilton Queenstown hotel. Our Queenstown office is responsible for the delivery and care or this majestic landscape.

Our onsite team landscaped all of Kawarau village, the hotel’s streetscape, lake front gardens and internal courtyards.  We have the muscle and the experience to plan, manage, and finance any resort project. So despite issues around accessibility of the hotel’s  internal courtyards the entire village was successfully completed on time and to budget.

Hardscape works included construction of timber decks, machine stacked stone walls, cedar slat fences, Macrocapa sleeper steps complete with handrail as well as the laying of paved areas and installation of Hoggin and compacted paths.

The soft landscaping component of the project involved planting and supply of shrubs, grasses, and trees as well as grass seeding, mulching and turf installation. We also installed 25 lightweight planters and a site wide irrigation system.
