  • All facets of the design had to cater to the unique and discerning needs of extremely wealthy foreign  clients

Cape Kidnappers Station Ltd owned by New York Billionaire Julian Robertson is nestled amongst 6,000 acres of rolling farmland in the Hawke’s Bay.

A high end golf resort designed by legendary golf architect Tom Doak, complete with exclusive luxury lodge accommodation, Cape Kidnappers required landscaping of the same quality. Natural Habitats worked with the owners and Nelson Byrd Woltz Architects to develop, detail, vegetate and build the landscape at “The Farm”.

The result is a landscape that effortlessly accommodates swimming pools, private gardens, native planting, footpaths and boardwalks. The resort’s planting, coupled with rugged, but appropriate hard landscaping have, in effect created one holistic, functioning and aesthetically appealing landscape.
