Botany was the first shopping centre in New Zealand to be built as a Town Centre. Its success lies in the ntegration of indoor outdoor flow. Botany broke the mould of having to be an airtight mall. The development became the crown in AMPs investment portfolio at the time and set a new bench mark in retail design.

Natural Habitats were responsible for the full hard and soft landscape design at Botany. This included the public squares, pedestrian streets, garden lanes, water features and children’s play areas. Following on from the design, Natural Habitats implemented all of the soft works, as well as selected hardscape works.
